ABOUT THE HANGOVER…
As you might imagine, Hungover began with a hangover… on a Wednesday morning. Addiction can sneak up on you like that. One day, you wake up to realize that something that used to bring you pleasure only when you wanted it to has grown out of your control. It begins to overshadow other spaces of your life it doesn’t belong in. But what to do about it?
Typically, people only see two options. Either never touch a drink again or crawl in a bottle and watch the world go by. Sure, a break can be necessary and sincerely helpful. But to regain the autonomy to go back to having a drink with friends where a drink can just be one drink if YOU want it to be — that’s empowering. Or choosing not to drink that night because your personal circumstances don’t lend themselves to a positive drinking environment. The point is to have the choice back in your own hands.
At Hungover, we’re striving to create a community that supports helping others live a healthy nightlife. We believe that life is worth enjoying and to be lived in joy and with laughter.
Together we can kick the hangover.
